After: Asia Cup Opening Ceremony reflections

Big ups to the Asia Cup opening ceremony team for having me last night. It was an amazing experience. One that I’ll never forget.

It was a pleasure working with everyone, from the directors, stage managers, assistants, volunteers and fellow performers. Thank you for making it such an awesome experience. I learnt so much and had a great time in the process.

Much love to Joelistics and Mistress of Ceremony. Though I’ve known of and seen you both around before, it’s been an honour working with you and getting to know you both. We make a pretty mean trio of pretend security guards who bust into being MCs.

Big ups to Chong Lim. The man! You are a genius. So glad to have met you. I hope I am blessed to one day work with you again. What you did to the Gurrumul song for the ceremony was epic! So beautiful.

And big ups to McCallum, the little fella in this photo, who was the star of our section. He played the role of an overexcited kid who stormed the field after the players warm ups.

Now with Asia Cup opening ceremony done, it’s onto the next one. Life keeps moving. I’m going to continue to roll with it.

More photos to come. Check me on Instagram: LFRESHTheLION.
